Cardinal in the Wind

6x8 in. Original Artwork

Cardinals are one of my favorite year-round visitors. I will never tire of seeing the brilliant scarlet flashes of a male cardinal through the winter trees. This one is perched on a branch on a blustery day.

This is a mixed media piece (watercolor, colored pencil, gouache) on acid-free paper. It is signed and dated on the back with graphite pencil, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The total size of the paper is 6x8 inches, with room around the artwork for a mat opening of 5x7. It will be shipped flat, without a frame or mat.
